Bangor Chamber of Commerce was established in 1936. Bangor was a very different place to the city it is today but our purpose still remains, to act as a means of support to the local business community. Bangor now stretches much further than just the city centre and we have members from central Bangor and within our vibrant business parks and out-of-city retail locations. We have to move with the times and the times are always changing!

So what does the Chamber do? Well, we aim to offer support, sign-post to other services, facilitate networking, provide opportunities for our members to get involved with events and activities, provide affordable training opportunities, facilitate networking, give our members access to our Council through our presence on many different working groups, as well as design and deliver our own events including Easter, Summer and Christmas activities and our highly-successful, annual Bangor Business Awards.

The Chamber is supported by an active and hard-working Board of committee members and a part-time staff member who is based in our Bangor office.

Contact our Development Director Geoff here and he would be delighted to talk to you / meet with you and tell you more!

We urge our local businesses to get involved and JOIN HERE! We have strength in numbers, the more local Bangor businesses we can represent, the stronger our voice locally about what is good for Bangor!

Working together for a better Bangor.
