Bangor Chamber of Commerce presents Bangor Amplified, a weekend of live music and fun for all the family as part of the wider Bangor Vibes event.
Taking place Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August across city centre locations, Bangor will come alive with music, dancing, performances, activities and of course, good food and drinks.
Friday 31st July
Local trad group, Pluckin’ About will be playing in Donegans on High Street from 5-6.30pm, before heading down the street to The Ember from 7-8.30pm.
Saturday 1st August
Pop up Performances- Pluckin’ About, The Irish Coalminers and Pipers from the Championships will be playing at shops, cafes, bars and restaurants across Bangor from 10am to 6.30pm.
Facepainting- Bring the kids (or yourself!) to The Old Market House on Main Stret for Facepainting and family activities.
Mill Row Street Party by Wolseys- Trad and Folk music on a small openair stage, with fun, beer and craic from the Wolseys team.
Crosby Street Festival by The Rabbit Rooms– Food, drinks and music on the strceet, hosted by The Rabbit Rooms.
Pipe Band Chamopionships Parade- We are delighted to be sponsoring the Parade Finale for the 73rd Ulster Pipe Band & Drum Major Championships, leaving Ward Park around 6.30pm to parade up Gransha Road towards Asda.
Sunday 2nd August
Local trad group, Pluckin’ About are back to play The Imperial Bar from 2-3.30pm, finishing with The Hope House from 7-8.30pm.
Businesses Taking part include Donegans, The Ember, The Old Market House, The Ava, Teddy’s, The Rabbit Rooms, King’s Quay, Imperial Bar, Hop House, Jenny Watts, Focus Menswear, Ginger + Berry.
