E-DATA – the Enterprise Digitalisation and Transformation Alliance – is a cross-border project helping small and medium-sized enterprises explore and adopt digital technologies that support productivity, resilience and growth.

The project provides fully funded support to businesses based in Antrim, Armagh, Cavan, Derry/Londonderry, Donegal, Down, Fermanagh, Leitrim, Louth, Monaghan, Sligo, and Tyrone.

E-DATA is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

E-DATA is delivered by a consortium of five partners: Ulster University, Manufacturing NI, Innovate NI, Sustainable NI, and Atlantic Technological University.

Through a co-design approach tailored to each business, E-DATA helps SMEs identify practical opportunities to use digital technologies more effectively — from enhancing existing systems and making better use of business data, to automating processes and exploring new technologies for future growth.

E-DATA delivers support across five key areas:

  • Providing impartial digital transformation advice tailored to the needs and priorities of each SME.
  • Delivering hands-on support to implement new technologies at no cost to participating businesses.
  • Helping businesses understand and reduce energy use and carbon emissions.
  • Supporting innovation-led product and process improvements.
  • Creating new cross-border business networks and collaborative clusters.
