Bangor Business Awards finalists announced as city prepares for a night of celebration
Bangor’s business community is celebrating after the finalists for the 2026 Bangor Business Awards were announced, with businesses from across the city recognised for their outstanding achievements, innovation and contribution to the local economy.
The annual awards, organised by Bangor Chamber of Commerce, celebrate the very best of Bangor’s business community, recognising the people and organisations helping to make the city a great place to live, work and do business.
This year’s finalists represent a diverse range of businesses and sectors, highlighting the strength and resilience of Bangor’s business community.
The prestigious awards ceremony will take place at The Clandeboye Hotel on Thursday 5th November bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs and guests for an evening of celebration.
The event will be hosted by popular broadcaster Pete Snodden, while the evening’s special star guest will be television personality and entertainer Timmy Mallett, who will add his own unique energy and entertainment to what promises to be a memorable night.
Main sponsor Jonathan Fusco said:
“The Bangor Business Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the people and businesses that make such an important contribution to our city. We are delighted to support the awards again and to recognise the ambition, hard work and innovation demonstrated by this year’s finalists.
“There is an incredible breadth of talent within Bangor’s business community and the quality of the finalists reflects that. We look forward to joining everyone on the night and celebrating their achievements.”
Bangor Chamber President Frank Shivers said:
“We are delighted to announce this year’s finalists and congratulate every business that has made the shortlist. The awards are about much more than winning a trophy – they are about recognising the people, teams and businesses who work tirelessly every day to make Bangor a thriving place to do business.
“The standard of entries has once again been exceptional and selecting the finalists has been a difficult task. We look forward to celebrating with all our finalists, sponsors and guests at what promises to be a fantastic evening.”
The awards will showcase success across a wide range of categories, recognising everything from independent retail and hospitality to professional services, sustainability, customer service, business growth and emerging businesses.
The Bangor Business Awards 2026 will provide an opportunity for the city’s business community to come together, celebrate success and recognise the people behind some of Bangor’s most successful businesses.
With Pete Snodden taking to the stage and Timmy Mallett joining as special guest, organisers are promising an entertaining and celebratory evening.
