Bangor Chamber of Commerce President, Frank Shivers, has expressed cautious optimism following a productive meeting with representatives from the Department for Communities (DFC) and the local Council regarding the Queens Parade Development.

During the meeting, all parties reaffirmed their commitment to the successful delivery of this vital project. Discussions focused on finalising the remaining legal matters, paving the way for the development to start.

Frank highlighted the critical importance of Queens Parade to the economic and civic future of Bangor, stating:

“Queens Parade is a cornerstone for the revitalisation of our city. Its development will not only boost economic growth but also enhance the civic pride of our community. I am encouraged by the shared determination of all stakeholders to see this project through to completion.”
